The proposed legislation was criticised by Cook Islands Crown Law’s deputy solicitor general David Greig, who described it as «flawed» and said that some provisions were «clearly unconstitutional». The Cook Islands Financial Services Development Authority described Drumcliffe’s involvement as a conflict of interest.

Cryptocurrency shiba inu
